The bathrobe for dogs – The Dryup® Cape from Actionfactory

Everyone knows the feeling of snuggling up in a soft terrycloth bathrobe after a hot shower. So why not treat your favourite dog to a bathrobe after a wet walk? ;)

And that's exactly what the Dryup® Cape from Actionfactory is: the perfect dog bathrobe!

The Dryup® Cape is ideal for drying your wet dog after a walk in a heated car or flat. Your four-legged friend can lie down anywhere without getting wet or dirty.

Why does the Dryup® Cape dry so well?

The Dryup® Cape is made from 100% cotton terry cloth. The typical loops of the terry cloth give the cape a very large surface area and allow it to store moisture in the fibres. This means that moisture is transported directly away from the dog's coat.

How did we ever manage without the Dryup Cape before?!

I've been asking myself that question repeatedly over the last few weeks. We've been using the Dryup® Cape from Actionfactory for some time now. As autumn and winter tend to be rainy, the cape is in frequent use.

After a rainy walk, I quickly pull the Dryup® Cape over Rico's head and fasten the strap with the buckle on his back. The strap allows you to adjust the size to fit your dog perfectly. As the buckle is on his back, it doesn't bother him at all when he lies down, so Rico can make himself comfortable in his dog basket without getting everything dirty.

The Dryup® Cape also has a turtleneck that is large enough to pull up over the ears. There is also a large hole for the tail. The hole allows the cape to be longer at the hind legs without getting in the way.

I also like to repurpose the Dryup® Cape for Clara and simply use it as a light coat for indoors. Clara no longer gets wet on walks because she wears the Active Cape+ from Actionfactory, but she does get cold from time to time in the flat because she has so little fur. As the Dryup® Cape is nice and light, cosy and not too thick, it is ideal for keeping Clara warm without making her ‘sweat’.

One final tip: as always with clothing, whether for dogs or humans, you should wash the Dryup® Cape before using it for the first time!

Our conclusion

The Dryup® Cape is simply practical and high quality!

At first, I was a little concerned that moisture would not be properly wicked away, but that was completely unfounded. The cotton terry cloth wonderfully wicks moisture away from the dog's coat while protecting the home from dirt and wetness.

After the first wash, the Dryup® Cape is ready for use and still in good shape, demonstrating once again the quality of the high-grade materials.

Rico, Clara and I are simply thrilled and wouldn't want to be without the Dryup® Cape in our everyday dog life! ☺

Thumbs up!
